I'm Chad, an engineer by training with a passion for creating things by hand. I picked up crochet during grad school as a way to cope with the stresses of research, and quickly fell in love with fiber art. What began as a quiet, creative escape soon became something I wanted to share.

Inspired by my grandma, who first taught me the joy of yarn, Chad's Critters is now my part-time passion project. Each handmade critter is thoughtfully designed and carefully stitched, blending engineering with creativity to maximize the "cuteness". My goal with this project is simple: to create squish-able, silly critters that bring comfort, whimsy, and a smile to people of all ages.
